CARE AFRICA is NDPR compliant. Your personal data belongs to you — we only collect what we need and use it for your benefit.
What data we collect
We collect only the data necessary to deliver services to you — health records for maternity programme participants, academic records for scholarship recipients, contact details for coordinators.
Who can see your data
Your health data is visible only to your assigned health worker and midwife. It is never shared with other community members, donors, or partners without your explicit consent.
Your rights
Under NDPR, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, and receive a copy in machine-readable format. Contact our Data Protection Officer to exercise these rights.
How we store your data
All personal data is stored encrypted in Supabase PostgreSQL databases hosted in the EU. Hub edge servers store anonymised operational data only.
Data retention
Health records are retained for 7 years after last contact. Education records for the duration of the programme plus 3 years. All other data per the NDPR retention schedule.
