Every CARE AFRICA maternity patient receives all six services as one seamless care package — no extra fees, no gaps.
Pregnancy Registration
Every expectant mother in a CARE AFRICA community is registered within 12 weeks of confirmed pregnancy, issued a digital maternity card linked to her full health record.
Antenatal Care
Structured ANC visits at Smart Hubs — blood pressure, iron supplementation, malaria prophylaxis, nutrition counselling, and foetal growth monitoring, all aligned to WHO guidelines.
Danger Sign AI Triage
Our AI triage system works 24/7. Mothers describe symptoms via voice or text and receive an instant risk assessment in Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, or English — any time, any day.
Safe Delivery Support
CARE AFRICA hubs coordinate with the nearest referral facility. We provide transport vouchers, birth kits, and a trained birth companion for every delivery.
Postnatal Visits
Community health workers visit every mother within 48 hours, Day 7, and Day 28 of delivery. We check for postpartum haemorrhage, infection, and newborn feeding.
Newborn Care
Vitamin K injection, BCG and Hepatitis B at birth, kangaroo mother care guidance, and early breastfeeding support — every newborn registered in the national immunisation system.

Action Plan
Red cases trigger an immediate call from our duty CHW plus ambulance coordination. Green and Amber cases receive self-care instructions and a follow-up reminder.
