Smart Hub Request

Request a Smart Hub for your community

Every community deserves access to health, education and opportunity. Tell us about your community and we will do everything we can to match it with a hub.

01 β€” WHO CAN REQUEST

Anyone with community backing can apply.

We do not require official government letters or formal documentation to begin the process. If you have the backing of your community, that is enough to get started.

🏘️

Community Leaders

Traditional rulers, village heads, community development committees and elected community representatives can all submit requests on behalf of their communities.

πŸ›οΈ

LGA Officials

Local government chairmen, education and health secretaries, and development planning officers can request hubs for communities within their LGA.

🌍

Diaspora Representatives

Nigerians abroad who wish to champion a specific community β€” including their hometown or their family's village β€” are welcome to submit requests with community backing.

🀝

NGOs & Partners

Registered NGOs, faith-based organisations and development partners already working in a community can request a hub on the community's behalf, with a letter of community endorsement.

03 β€” WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU SUBMIT

No request disappears into a void.

Every submission is reviewed by a member of our programmes team. Here is exactly what happens after you press submit.

01

Acknowledgement within 48 hours

You will receive an email confirming your request has been received, with a unique request reference number. Use this to track your request status in the Hub Centre.

02

Initial review β€” 2 weeks

Our programmes team reviews the submission against our priority criteria: remoteness, health need, educational access, and community readiness. We may contact you for additional information.

03

Needs assessment β€” 4–8 weeks

If your community passes the initial review, we conduct a formal needs assessment β€” either a site visit or a structured remote interview with community leaders.

04

Hub matched and funded

If approved, your community is matched to a hub tier and we begin sourcing funding through our corporate, diaspora and government networks. Timeline depends on funding availability.

05

Construction begins

Once funding is confirmed, construction begins within 4 weeks. Most Tier 1 and 2 hubs are installed and operational within 12 weeks of funding confirmation.
